Let’s take this back over 10 years ago! In 2013 when Jun Sang Hun started COSRX the main focus was the customer and the care for their products. In fact, they go hand in hand. COSRX is notorious for implementing your feedback to help your skin feel great!

Today that is still their goal, and since COSRX has been popping off lately… well we need to talk about it.

COSRX does this fun little thing where they don’t outsource their research. They also happen to supply to over 146 countries, and have won over 135 global beauty awards in the last decade! So what exactly is so amazing about their products?

They’re the closest thing to being tailor-made for your skin as possible.

Over the holidays I’ve had the fortune of trying not one! Not two! But three of COSRX signature skin care products, here’s what I found out for you.

My skin-care routine has gone through changes since the chilly weather of the PNW set in. One of my key battles along with many of you in the colder states is dryness, ugh that dreaded dull dry skin. What’s worse is when you have combo skin or oily most of the time and then that transition sets in.

So locking in and maintaining moisture is a big deal! 

I thought about 96 Power Essence and it was a little odd to be adding snail mucin (yes that would be snail mucus) to my daily routine. But it has been a soothing miracle.

I like to look into the products I’m reviewing so I got out my magnifying glass and got to work.

Along with Snail Mucin which hydrates and plumps skins' outer layers, you’ll have the benefit of a naturally occurring ingredient. Betaine. Betaine detoxifies and promotes cell function.

Other perks of the 96 power essence are soothing and protecting skin texture.

Let’s address the snail in the room. Because we both have questions. While snail mucin is no new thing, it could be new to you. So I did some research and found that the snails are alive. They aren’t harmed in the mucin-collecting process (to my knowledge). They’re put through a champer which collects the mucin. The snails are then released back to their homes. Then the mucins' filtration process begins.

I’ve been very happy with 96 and COSRXs’ other products. I've noticed an improvement in my skin texture to a plump, soft feeling. My pores appear smaller, and my skin biome feels better.
